Day 6, Monday July 07, 2014

Today I woke up to many pictures on facebook of the kids trying frog legs and escargot but didn't see one with Emma in it.  I could tell that the person taking the pictures was trying to get everyone so I was worrying about Emma.  I could just imagine her in a corner, sick and secluded from the group.  My mind went many places, none of them were good...today was a hard day to get through. I just wanted to see a picture with Emma in it to put my mind at ease. I sent a message to the leader posting all the pictures asking how Emma is doing since I couldn't see her in any pictures.  I am not sure if Emma tried the delicacies of France but I sure hope she did.

Emma got to discover the most prestigious monuments of the city including the Notre-Dam cathedral.  Incredibly, construction of this fantastic building began in 1163 and took two centuries to complete! Yay! I was so excited to see Emma in a picture here.

After seeing the sights one last time, they took a bus ride to Normandy.  Videos were posted on facebook of the kids singing on the buses, again I didn't see Emma.  My mind continued to make me crazy with thoughts of Emma being miserable.  I know I am super paranoid but that is what happens to me when I haven't slept well for a couple of weeks.

I think the sweet leader posting pictures on facebook could tell I was a little worried about Emma  so she sent me this picture of Emma (on the bus maybe) and this video.  It sure helped me feel a lot better.  Emma is doing well and enjoying her time there.  Thank You Mary Letterman:)  I think I can make it through the rest of the trip.
