Just wanted to update where we are with money as some great things have happened since my last post.

One of my wonderful YW leaders when I was a youth gave a donation of $25.  THANK YOU Lisa Woodburry.( $3470 to go)

Emma watched her 2 cousins over night again and got $50 for each so she earned $100 that weekend. THANK YOU Aunt Lisa and Aunt Stephanie ($3370 to go)

We did a raffle of a few things I sell in my booth at Quilted Bear and earned $187.  THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED!! ($3183 to go)

2 people have signed up and paid for family pictures from my sister who is donating the money to Emma which gives us $300 more dollars. THANK YOU TIFFANY THOMAS AND HEATHER NIELSON.  I know there are a few more that want to do it so we will announce those when they pay.($2883 to go)

We had another person sign up for flags giving us $40 THANK YOU MICHELLE WHITE
($2843 to go)

We also had someone donate $100 to her account and because I can't see who makes payments I don't know who it was but THANK YOU SOMEONE!!!($2743 to go)

We are getting sooo close.  We have felt so much love and support from family and friends, we are so blessed.

I have to say, the trip is getting close too and I wont tell Emma this till after she gets home, but I woke up the other night around 3am and was thinking of sending her off half way across the world in someone else's care.  So many thoughts went through my head and I felt so overwhelmed.  What if at the last minute she is too scared to go?  What if she gets sick? How can I send her off without being a huge baby? We still need almost $3,000 dollars, what if we don't get it all?  How can I be without her for 15 days? What if something happens and it is the last time I see her?  HOLY COW!!  Things seem so much worse at night.  I can't wait till she gets home and we can celebrate the time she had there.  But until then, I am sure there will be more sleepless nights to come.

Wow! it has been almost a month since our last post.  Oh well, we have much to report.   First of all we had 3 more people sign up for flags, that takes us to 49 flags ($3580 to go).

Our sweet home teacher gave Emma a French Book of Mormon and asked her if each month when he comes that she would read a few verses in French.  He loves to hear the language.  How thoughtful is that!? THANK YOU BRO. TILBY!  We have GREAT home teachers, we love them and their families.

We finally took in the cans that Aunt Cindy and Grandma gave us (darn I should have gotten a pic of it, maybe next time). We got a whopping $5.40, I think the guy that weighed it for us wrote down a few extra pounds even...every little bit counts:) ($3575 to go)

Emma went to Grammies house and helped her clean out cupboards and closets.  She really enjoys spending time with Grammies.  When they clean they tell stories about things in the cupboard or closet.  She earned $50. THANK YOU GRAMMIES($3525 to go)

A couple of items that Brook Lowe gave us to sell at Quilted Bear sold, giving her $20 more. THANKS AGAIN BROOK! ($3505 to go)

Emma got her passport in the mail....So exciting!! Little steps to a big trip:)

I sold something on 24/7 yardsale giving her $10. ($3495 to go)

We had our March P2P meeting yesterday where we talked about appropriate behavior and got ideas of how to pack and be safe. Emma was also given a Journal assignment and gets to do a project on something from England or France (she chose the Eifel Tower-no surprise).

Here is a pic of Emma playing a get-to-know-you game.  The girls had to find 3 not so obvious things they have common.

And another great photography moment by Gideon (Emma's 2 yr old brother) This is our leader Traci Nuttal and part of our group.

Before this meeting we were supposed to finish 2 modules on the P2P website where we watch a video to learn about the countries they are traveling to and then take a test.  We found out we were doing it all wrong so we tried to catch up before this meeting. We did Geography and Art.  Geography we didn't do so well, you have to get 100% on the test to pass it off and you only have 3 chances per hour to do it.  We didn't get 100% in those 3 chances so we have to wait:( The good thing about that is Emma is really gonna know her stuff.  You cant forget those things you have to do and re-do. Well, now that we know how to do it we will work on it each week and get ahead and finish all those required.

One other thing I learned this past month is that people can make donations/payments directly to Emma's account at http://payment.peopletopeople.com/ and put in her delegate # 10205205.

My sister Kirsten is doing some photo shoots to help raise money for Emma's trip. I believe she has 3 people signed up.  I will make note of the money when it actually comes in. THANK YOU AUNTIE KIRSTEN!!
