Day 2 Thursday, July 3rd

Today the group landed in Paris and had short French lesson with her Delegation Manager.  They would learn some essential Franch vocab to use on the trip much of which Emma probably already knows.

Then they toured the Palace of Versailles.  Their Blue Badge guide brought to life the stories and history of what life was like for the residents of the beautiful palace such as Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette.

Then they explored the magnificent Chateau de Versailles, built during the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King.  They walked the bejeweled Hall of Mirrors and the private chambers of France's flamboyant Sun King and wandered the vast formal gardens.
