About 11:30 our time, morning the next day for them, her leader Traci called me and told me Emma wasn't doing well. That she keeps getting sick on the bus and throwing up and just not sleeping at night. She doesn't eat much because she doesn't feel well. I think it might be a mixture of anxiety, motion sickness and exhaustion. I think a lot of it could be in her head, like she is so afraid to get sick that she is making herself sick. I hope she can get past it or this is going to be a loooooong couple weeks. It is killing me to be so far away and not even be able to talk her through it.
Today they took a guided tour (of course a lot was on a bus) of Paris. She went to the Eiffel Tower (I hope she was able to enjoy this- this was one of the most important parts for her), the Arc de Triomphe- the world's first organized roundabout and Napolian's homage to the armies and himself. The avenue of the Champs-Elysees just in front of them. looks like they went to Notre Dam also.
Seeing the pictures one of the leaders was posting on facebook, I thought Emma looked tired only to find out later that she was not only tires but not feeling well.
In the morning at the hotel. Ready for another busy day.
Yay, the Eiffel Tower. I hope she got a good picture of herself in front of it.
Arc de Triomphe
Now I know why she had this look on her face when boarding the bus. Oh, I pray she can be strong and still enjoy.
