They got to discover their artistic side while touring the artists quarter of Montmartre. They also got to go to the top of La Basilique du Sacre Coeur for an impressive view of Paris.
They will enjoyed an art workshop and created their own masterpiece under the instruction from a local artist.
We are praying hard for Emma. Her leader called last night to tell me that Emma keeps getting sick and isn't sleeping at night. Don't know if it is motion sickness from the bus or just exhaustion it could also be some anxiety.
Looks like she is doing ok in this picture. From some of the pics I can tell she is really trying, just hope she can enjoy. I love that one of the leaders keeps posting pics so I can see her.
This is them having an art lesson
"We are all beautiful pieces of art"
I am really struggling, knowing that Emma is having a rough time and I cant help her. Derrel keeps asking me, "who is more homesick, Mom or Emma?"
Being the 4th of July we celebrated with family and went to see RIO 2, had dinner with Grandma, Grandpa and Derrel's sister and her family, went to the Sandy parade as is our tradition. This year we had to come home early to pick up flags (one of the fundraisers to get Emma to Paris). Then we enjoyed fireworks from our front porch as so many people in the neighborhood do the aerial ones we were basically surrounded by firework shows. All day we kept thinking about how Emma would love this movie or Emma would love those dresses on the beauty queens. WE MISS OUR EMMA.
