An update for the last month.  Gosh, I'm slow:) So first of all we had a sweet family in our ward give Emma some cards that say Paris (maybe she can use them for THANK YOU's to all these wonderful supporters) along with $40.  THANK YOU BARNEY FAMILY!! ($2703 to go)

I sold some things on 24/7 yard sale giving her $80 ($2623 to go)

Auntie Elisa and Uncle Matt got to go see Les Meserables at Hale Theatre which meant Emma and I got to go babysit baby Sophia which they paid Emma for.  They were extremely generous giving her $100. THANK YOU ELISA AND MATT (not just for the money to support Emma but the opportunity to cuddle and love that cute little baby girl)  ($2523 to go)

We had another awesome family in our ward give Emma $100.  THANK YOU OBLADS ($2423 to go)

I feel so overwhelmed by the love and support of our family and friends.  We consider our ward our family too.  So many people have shown support even if they cant give money they show their love and support in other ways.

For the April P2P meeting we were asked to bring a snack so we brought the French Flag and some baguettes.

Things we talked about included:  Staying Healthy while on the trip, Communication tips for parents (telling me not to cry every time we get to talk, which might be impossible for me.  I cry every time I think of sending her away.  They even put me at the top of the parent calling tree in case they need to get a message out to parents quickly), Hotel safety and expectations, Handling money/Budgeting (they don't want the kids to spend all their money on treats the first day). Emma was a little freaked out when they split the boys and girls up and talked to the girls about bringing stuff in case they have that time of month.  They told them that  weather this has happened yet or not they need to be prepared because when you are around a bunch of girls for that long you never know what can happen (we are praying she wont have to worry about that but will prepare her just in case.)  Last but not least We also planned a service project at the Veteran's Hospital for they May meeting.
